Macro Photography
1980 - 1981
Moser used a macro lens—an expensive and rare item at the time—to experiment with various depths of field.
In characteristic style, Moser photographed items found in the immediate vicinity of their household, choosing to spend more time on the composition of each shot rather than choosing which item to photograph.
While some items are immediately recognizable, others remain a mystery until the viewer's eyes wander to the caption below, often suprising them with the revelation of what they are looking at.
